By Matthew David RanaH: It’s true. At times, we have both relied on illegal activity to support ourselves. But we have always been interested in experimental music, film and theater, as well as conceptual and performance art. In 1999, while visiting the United States, we were shocked to learn that sodomy was still considered illegal in fourteen states. We decided to use our holiday to make a video work that involved the systematic violation of this antiquated legislation.
