Michelle Grabner

Michelle Grabner is an American painter and conceptual artist. In addition to Grabner’s activities as a widely exhibited artist, busy housewife, and dedicated mother, she also writes prolifically for Frieze, Flash Art, and artUS, among others. She is simultaneously an Associate Professor at the University of Wisconsin, Madison and an Adjunct Professor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and curates exhibitions, including the 2014 Whitney Biennial. Grabner, and her husband Brad Killam, founded The Suburban (est. 1999) and the Poor Farm (est. 2009).
